Jimmy Ross Martin, 76, of Crump, died on Saturday, Oct. 7, at his residence in Crump.
He was born in White County, Tennessee, the son of the late Wilburn E. and Thelma Lee Moore Martin. He was united in marriage to Genny Sue Campbell, who survives.
Mr. Martin served his country in the United States Army. He retired from A&G trucking delivering homes for Clayton Mobile Homes. He was of Church of Christ belief and was a member of Pickwick Shrine Club, Savannah Masonic Lodge 102 and American Legion in Lexington, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife Genny Martin, he is survived by his two sons, Randy Martin of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Michael Martin of Key West, Florida; six grandchildren; and one sister, Barbara Dodson of Lebanon, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Martin.
Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Neil Burks officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery at Enville.
