Edith Christine Fielder White departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama at the age of 83 years, 7 months, 24 days.
She was born March 7, 1934, in Lutts, the daughter of the late C.H. and Earline Bevis Fielder. She was united in marriage to J.C. White on March 8, 1952.
Mrs. White was retired from El Rancho Furniture. She was a member of Stateline Church of Christ and Hwy. 69 Volunteer Fire Department.
She is survived by her husband J.C. White, Lutts; sons, Donnie White, Hornlake, Mississippi, Johnny White, Florence, Alabama, Bobby White, wife Tracy, daughter, Cindy Smith all of Lutts; grandchildren, Christy Davis, Eric White, Katie White, Kevin Smith, Jessie White, Kayla Covington; great-grandchildren, Dalton Davis, Payton Davis, Makayla Wilkerson, Brycen Wilkerson, Allison Hays and Trevor Covington; and sister, Charlene Hatchett, Lutts.
In addition to her parents, Mrs White was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Fielder and James Fielder.
Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood with David Dowdy officiating. Burial followed in Centenary Cemetery, Lutts, with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
