William D. Doyle, 69, of Savannah, died on Thursday, May 10, in Memphis.
He was born in Olive Hill, the son of the late Willie and Gazelle Davis Doyle.
Mr. Doyle served his country in the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a retired water plant operator. When he was able, he attended Peoples Tabernacle Church in Savannah.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tina Brewer of Clifton and Kristen Gaither of Savannah; five grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Doyle of Savannah; one sister, Nellie Sue Wells of Savannah; his former wife, Becky Doyle of Savannah; and four nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 19, at 2 p.m., at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Savannah with Josh Franks officiating.
