It appearing to the Court from the attached sworn motion in this cause that the whereabouts of the Respondent, Darrin Plunk, biological father of Amelia Diane Plunk, is presently unknown and cannot be ascertained upon diligent inquiry, so that ordinary process cannot be served upon him. The last known address of the Respondent, Darrin Plunk, is 800 Hinkle Road, Sardis, Hardin County, TN. It is, HEREBY, ORDERED that Respondent shall be served once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks with notice of this action by publication of this Order in The Savannah Courier in Hardin County, Tennessee as provided by law. Respondent is hereby required to appear and answer or otherwise defend against the Petition for Termination of Parental Rights, and to serve an answer to said petition within thirty (30) days from the last day of publication of this notice on Melissa G. Stewart, Attorney for Petitioners in this cause, whose address is 177 W. Court Ave., P.O. Box 647, Selmer, Tennessee, 38375, or default judgment will be entered against the Respondent(s), and this cause set for hearing ex parte as to Respondent.  If there is no answer, a hearing on Petitioners’ motion for default shall be heard on May 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the Juvenile Courtroom in Henderson, Chester County, Tennessee.  Failure to answer or appear may result in termination of Respondent’s parental rights to the child referenced above.
