Savannah woman dies of crash injuries

Sept. 21– Hardin County recorded its first traffic fatality of the year today following a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon at the intersection of Airport Road and U.S. 64.

Rhonda K. Franks, 52, of Savannah, died at Vanderbilt Hospital at 6:13 a.m., according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Franks was driving a four-door 2004 Pontiac north on Airport Road. Magen N. Murphy, 23, of Savannah, was driving a 2005 GMC Envoy east on U.S. 64.
