Dog bites Bush
Feb. 3– A 25-year-old Savannah man was bitten when he was attacked by a pack of dogs Tuesday, according to a police report.
Don Bush, 800 Hickory St., told Savannah police he was riding a bike on Ranch Street when a brown German Shepherd came from 235 Ranch and bit him on the back of his left leg.
A witness, Regina Lee, reported she saw the attack and said a black dog and a small white dog were also trying to bite Bush.
Officers notified the Savannah Animal Control Department.
Hardin County does not provide any animal control services despite a current budget of $125,000 for an animal control program.
