Traffic slow and go in Savannah for rock concert
Sept. 17– Expect traffic delays in Savannah today.
Main Street from Water Street to Pickwick Street through downtown Savannah is blocked to through traffic because of preparations for the 7 p.m. Marshall Tucker Band rock concert.
Traffic is being detoured to the Water Street truck route.
However, downtown businesses remain accessible via the side streets.
As of 8 a.m., delays of 10 to 15 minutes should be expected.
Concert tickets for the outdoor event are available at the gate.
