Clay Wagoner Memorial Bluegrass Show

The Clay Wagoner Memorial Bluegrass Show

will be held March 20, at The Marty, Adamsville Community Center. The show begins at 6 p.m. with "Junction 64 Bluegrass." Bill Wagoner and "Flatwoods Bluegrass" will play at 6:45 p.m. and "Hatchie Bottom Boys" will close out the show at 7:30 p.m. Concessions available. Donations taken to help with expenses.

 

McNairy County diabetes classes

UT Extension in McNairy County

will hold free classes for all diabetics, their family members or caretakers. Classes will include educational information by a registered dietician, demonstrations on how to prepare healthy meals without cutting taste, and the opportunity to taste a variety of dishes. Blood pressure and glucose levels checked, free of charge. The first class will be April 6 at 5:30 at the Selmer Senior Center and the next three classes will be on April 13, 20, and 27 also at the Selmer Senior Center. Call the UT Extension office at 731-645-3598 to register for the classes.

   

6th annual Hunting for a Cure event

Sixth Annual Hunting for a Cure event

on March 27-28 at the Hardin County Fairgrounds will feature all-day activities on Saturday, the 27th, including S.E.W.A. wrestling, the Tennessee Titan cheerleaders, and Saturday night auction. All proceeds go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For more information see www.huntingforacure.net.

e will be held March 13, starting at 11 a.m., at the lot between Central Bank and J&J Tractor; sold by the sandwich, pound or plate, and barbecue ribs. All proceeds go to St. Jude’s Hospital. For more information call 926-1674.
