Billy G. Williams, 92, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, June 13, the son of the late Herbert Brooks and Mattie Elizabeth King Williams.
He was united in marriage to Lou Maxine Simmons, who preceded her husband in death.
Billy was a farmer, did tool and die work, and also sold motorcycles. He was a machinist, mechanic and volunteer fire fighter. Mr. Williams was a member of Oak Hill Christian Church, Lions Club, Tax Board, the Production Credit Association, and Board of Directors of Co-Op.
He is survived by his children, Stanley Williams, Mike Williams, Gary Williams, Billy D. Williams, Pam Woodruff and Anne Pease; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Herbert B. Williams Jr., Ben Williams and Steve Williams; and sisters, Jane Osborne and Linda Hamedani.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one grandchild; one great-grandchild; brothers, Roy Williams and Pat Williams; and one infant sister, Ann Williams.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, June 18, at Oak Hill Christian Church in Corinth, Mississippi, with Frank Williams officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Christian Church Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi.
