Bobby Wood

Bobby Gene Wood, 93, of Counce, passed away on Saturday, July 20, the son of the late William Mancil and Louise Wood.
Bobby worked in the logging business and build several homes in the community. He also participated in the construction of Center Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky W. Mitchell; sons, Geney A. Wood and Anthony Wood; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his sons, James Timothy Wood and Johnny Wood; an infant son; sister, Irene Carroll; and brothers, W.M. Wood, Jr., Ray Wood, Leroy Wood, David Woods, Roger Wood, and Donnie Wood.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 24, at the Center Hill Cemetery in Counce.
