Helen Manriquez

Helen June Whittaker Manriquez, 72, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, the daughter of the late William David Whittaker and Barbara Jean Seagoe Fields.
She was united in marriage to Gilbert Manriquez, who preceded her in death.
Helen worked as a CNA for 22 years. Helen was proud of her Native American heritage, and was a member of the Karuk Tribe of California.
Helen is survived by her children; Barbara Brunette-Croy, Tyna M. Brunette, Karie Brunette, James Winkler, and Tammy Rattler; brothers, Ernie Whittaker, David Whittaker and Michael Fields; halfbrother; stepsister, Mary Dickerson; 19 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Fields and Diana Friesen; and stepsister, Pam Goodwin.
