C.J. Sharp is five-time winner of Courier contest

Posted

For those high school football experts in our area who may not have been aware, Richardson Media Group and The Courier started a new 2024 Football Contest five weeks ago.
The contest involves picking the winner among 16, mostly high school football contests and guessing the most points scored in any game as the tie-breaker. The winner each week receives a $25 cash prize and will have their name entered for a $250 prize drawing at the end of the season. Look for the entry form in each week’s Sports Section.
One person who is aware of the contest and has proved to be very good at picking games is C.J. Sharp of Savannah. He’s won our contest each of the five weeks it has been held and has not had a great deal of competition.
While we are grateful for C.J.’s entry every week and extremely impressed with his picking abilities, we would love to see more area football experts get involved and at least give him a run for the money.
Encourage your co-workers, friends and family to enter and see who can take home bragging rights. Show Us What You Got!
