Jack Sullivan, 70, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1. He was born on Jan. 26, 1953, in Savannah, the son of the late Elmer Lee and Fannie Cary Sullivan.

On July 26, 1982, he was united in marriage to Cherry Lynn Franks, who survives.

Mr. Sullivan retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers where he was a member of the union and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was also a former Mason and Shriner. Jack loved spending time with his daughter and granddaughter and his little dog, Paisley. He also enjoyed going to visit the Amish community.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cherry Lynn Sullivan of Savannah; daughter, Jackie Lynn Sullivan Christopher and her husband Kevin of Adamsville; son, Christopher Lee Sullivan of Savannah; and grandchildren, Reesi Lee Loporto and Christian Levi Sullivan.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, Dec. 7, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Dennis Usner officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
