Jenny Cates

Jenny Rayborn Cates, 84, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, May 23. She was born on July 23, 1939, in Morgan County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Allen Rayborn.
Jenny grew up in the Morris Chapel area and later worked at Brown Shoe Company in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed knitting, reading and working puzzles.
She is survived by her son, Alan Cates of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by the father of her son, Joseph Cates.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
