June Armstrong

June Overton Armstrong, 81, of Warner Robins, Georgia, formerly of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
She was born in Savannah, daughter of the late Louvenia Love White.
She was an interior decorator at Haverty’s Furniture.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Armstrong; daughter, Lecia Carole Overton; and siblings, Morris White, Mary Ann Woody, Sonny White and Glenda Stanfield.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Larry May of Warner Robins; children, Wileda Kaye Hammack of Nashville, Venicea “Sissy” Overton of Warner Robins; Kiriar “NaDarai” Kimball of Warner Robins, and Landrel Warren of Memphis; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Norma Wesson (Jimmy) of Tennesse.
Services were held on Sunday, Sept. 15, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah with N.J. Pope officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
