Ronnie White Sr.

Ronnie Dale White Sr., 67, of Savannah, passed away on Monday, June 3. He was born on Jan. 4, 1957, in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Claude Boyd White and Eva Price Staggs.
On June 12, 1976, he was united in marriage to Mary Lee Tibbs White, who preceded him in death on Oct. 17, 2020.
Ronnie was a minister in Hardin County since 1997. He was a member of the Savannah Masonic Lodge in Savannah, Tennessee and Pickwick Shriners in Counce, Tennessee. In his younger years, Ronnie coached basketball, softball, and baseball. Ronnie enjoyed doing masonry and carpenter work. He loved watching western movies, fishing, and most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Misty Prince and husband Joseph, Chrystall White, and Tina Smith and husband Joey, all of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Ronnie White Jr., of Mississippi, and Robert White of Blount County, Tennessee; brother, Junior White and wife Terri of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Linda McAnally and husband Don, and Mistie Presley and husband Michael, all of Savannah, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, Wilburn White.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, June 6, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Tony Polk officiating. Burial followed at Crump Cemetery in Crump, Tennessee.
