Roy Thomas Baker Jr.

Roy Thomas Baker Jr. (born Mikel Edward Staton), of Bath Springs, went to be with his Lord and Savior, July 25, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 26, 1967, in Wichita, Kansas.
He is survived by his 30-year partner, Lia Poteet. Sisters, Sherill Martens, Brenda West, Lonita Maarel, Glenda Durham, Debra Parsons and Sommer Staton. One brother, Jesus William Staton and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley A (Smith) Baker, biological father, William B Staton; brother, William D Staton and father that adopted him, Roy Thomas Baker Sr.
Roy was mechanically minded and therefore worked on cars, barges and motorcycles. Motorcycles were his passion and he ended up running his own shop, Roy’s Motorcycle in Enville, Tennessee.
