Teddy Rodgers

Teddy Rodgers, 87, of Counce, passed away Saturday, July 13, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Cornith, Mississippi. He was born on Sept. 30, 1936, in Tennessee, the son of the late James Isaac Rodgers and Elmo Elizabeth Summers Rodgers.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Counce and a retired Civil Engineer for the state of Tennessee with 30 years of service. Teddy was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.
Teddy is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha B. Rodgers; son, Teddy Rodgers Jr.; daughters, Debbie Kiestler McIntyre and April Hodges; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Rodgers and Max Rodgers; and sisters, Elizabeth Wallin and Janice Cunningham.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, July 17, at the First Baptist Church of Counce, with Jimmie McChrisitial officiating and Lynn Prather delivering the eulogy. Burial followed at Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery in Counce.
