Friday’s HCHS homecoming parade taking new route

The Hardin County High School Homecoming Parade on Friday has a different parade route this year.
“In order to provide the safest and most secure route possible for our students, we have amended the parade route for homecoming,” said Wes Wilkerson, Hardin County High School principal. “The parade leaves the school at 1:30 p.m. and lasts about an hour.”
Here’s the the updated parade route for Sept. 20:
1. Begining on Sevier Street the parade will turn left on Rex Adkisson Way
2. Right onto Stadium Drive
3. Left onto Sharon Street
4. Across Lacefield Drive passing by Hardin County Middle School and Parris South Elementary
5. Left onto Pickwick Road
6. Left onto Main Street
7. Circle the cannon ball monument and travel back on Main Street
8. Right onto Pickwick Road, then travel back to HCHS
