Eddie Presley (5-5-20)

Ronald Eddie Presley, 76, of Adamsville, died Tuesday, May 5. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Lillie Maebell Myers and Theman Parrish Presley. He was united in marriage to Youvon Ervin, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Presley was self employed as a logger. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his children, Ronald Gene Presley of Adamsville, Sarah Jeannette Maness, of Reagan, Tennessee, Joel Clark Presley, of Savannah, Richard Flint Presley, of Savannah, and Rodney Lynn Presley, of Crump; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; his brothers, Floyd Presley, of Adamsville, Wayne Presley, of Morris Chapel, and Reese Allen Presley, of Adamsville; and his sisters, Patricia Gary, Carol Murphy, Shelia Presley, and Bonnie Murphy, all of Savannah.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sylvia Lynn Presley; his stepson, Terry Lee Ervin; his grandson Ronald Joel Presley; and his brother, Woody Presley. A graveside service was held May 9 at the Crump Cemetery with Keith Smith officiating.
