Louise White

Louise White, 71, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, the daughter of the late Otis and Letha Cox Austin.
She was united in marriage to Johnny Lee White, who survives.
Louise retired after 20 years as a CNA for Park Rest Nursing Home and she also had worked at a sewing factory for 25 years. She was a member of Wards Community Church for 25 years and Nixon First Pentecostal Church for 10 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Angela K. Cossey and Sherri Lee McGill; four grandchildren; and sisters, Molly Hudson and Kathy Burks.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her grandson, Kenneth Garth Glover; sisters, Rebecca Joyce Lener and Ollie Mae Turner; and brother, Paul David “P.D.” Austin.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at White’s Creek Cemetery in Savannah, with Larry Hudson officiating.
