Potential hazardous weather prompts closing at Shiloh National Park

Due to potential hazardous weather predicted around late Thursday and early Friday, Shiloh National Military Park announced it will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23.
Both the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center and the Shiloh theater at the Visitor Center are currently scheduled to be open on Saturday, Dec. 24, but at 10 a.m., rather than 8 a.m. The park’s facilities will close as usual at 5 p.m.
The park is closed on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, but visitors are welcome to take driving or walking tours of the monuments and sites.
All visitor sites at both Shiloh and Corinth battlefields will reopen on Monday, Dec. 26.
