SWHRA food distribution set for October 16-17

Southwest Human Resource Agency is distributing commodities to eligible Hardin County residents on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 16-17.
The distribution point is the Hardin County Fairgrounds at 1019 Clifton Road in Savannah.
Residents must be income eligible and register prior to the event by calling 731-925-5405.
To control traffic, residents will need to pick up their food boxes on certain dates and times.
Qualified residents with last names that begin with A-F will need to get their goods from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Oct. 16. Also on Oct. 16, those with last names that start with G-L can pick up their supplies from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
On Oct. 17, residents with last names that begin with M-S can get their goods from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., while residents with last names that start with T-Z can receive their items from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Commodities recipients are asked to remain in their vehicle while holding their identification or paperwork up to the window.
Food will be placed either in the trunk or the back seat of the vehicle.
