The Tennessee driver’s license station in Savannah is relocating.

The Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced last week that the current Driver Services Center at 60 Brazelton St. will permanently close on March 1 at 5 p.m.

A new full-service Driver Services Center is scheduled to open March 6 at 1016 Pickwick St. Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Services offered include driver’s license issuance, identification card issuance, motor vehicle records, vision testing, knowledge testing, road skills testing, handgun permit applications, voter registration, and organ and tissue donor registration.

Other Driver Services Centers in the vicinity are in Jackson at 100 Benchmark Circle, and in Oakland at 160 Beau Tisdale Drive.

A variety of driver services such as renewals are available online at https://dl.safety.tn.gov.
