THP offers ‘thoughts and prayers’ for families involved in surge of crashes in Hardin County

In the wake of three separate vehicle-related fatalities in Hardin County since Monday – including a 12 year old driving a four-wheeler – plus multiple others injured in additional crashes, the Tennessee Highway Patrol is offering condolences and advice.

In a statement Friday, the THP said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families involved in the crashes that have occurred this week in Hardin County. The Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to work hard to reduce injury and fatal crashes, but we need the public to do their part.

“You can help us make the roadways safer by slowing down, wearing your seatbelt, leaving the phones alone while driving, and by not driving distracted or under the influence.

“Our troopers care about you and your safety. So please help us to keep you and your loved ones safe.”
