Alma Elizabeth Taylor, 84, of Savannah, departed this life on Friday, October 10,, the daughter of the late Henderson Wallace Shook and Myrtle Slay Scott.
She was united in marriage to Jimmy Taylor, who preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Taylor worked several factory jobs and was a cosmetologist at Frankie’s Cut-N-Style. Alma was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
She is survived by her son, Brent Taylor.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alma was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria May Shook Bowen.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, at Memory Gardens in Savannah, with Daniel Holt officiating.
