Anthony Shankle
Anthony Shankle, 55, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, July 24, the son of the late James Ervin and Linda Paulette McClanahan Shankle.
Anthony worked as a logger in logwoods and sawmills for many years. Anthony attended Souls Harvest Church in Savannah.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Shankle; daughter, Charity Nichole Shankle; son, AJ Shankle; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his brother, James Allen Shankle.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Bobby Pickens and Teresa Turnbow officiating. Burial followed at Shankle Family Cemetery in Savannah.
