Betty Ann Dunaway Franks, 85, of Savannah, passed away on Sunday, June 15, the daughter of the late Lessie T. and Amy Scott Dunaway.
She was united in marriage to Ottie Ray Franks, who preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Franks retired from the Hardin County School System where she worked in the cafeteria at Hardin County Middle School.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Franks, Jeff Franks, and Brian Franks; 10 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Troy Dunaway, Wilburn Dunaway, Billy Dunaway, Ralph Dunaway, and Charles Dunaway; and sisters, Alice Mae Browder, Mary Sue King, Katie Basinger, and Jean Ruth Dunaway Huggins.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, June 18, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Josh Franks officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah, Tennessee.
