Bettye Beckham Crow, 81, of Savannah, departed this life on Friday, April 24, the daughter of the late H.B. and Zella Robinson Beckham.
Bettye graduated from Central High School in 1962 and later attended Draughon’s Business College in Memphis.
Bettye was united in marriage to Charles Crow.
She began her career with the Hardin County Board of Education as administrative assistant to the superintendent before joining Angelica Uniform Group. There, she dedicated more than 30 years of service, retiring in 2002 as a corporate Human Resources manager.
Bettye was a devoted member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah.
She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Clayton; Charla Townley, and Natalie Hunt; seven grandchildren; sisters-in-law Peggy Beckham and Yvonne Williams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Crow; and her brother, David Beckham.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 1,3 p.m., at Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah, with Carter Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.
