Carol Tilson Pulley, 77, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5. She was born in Memphis, Tennesee, on November 7, 1948, and lived a life defined by love, devotion to family, and quiet strength.
Carol dedicated 32 years of her life as a teacher in the Hardin County School System, where she touched countless lives with her patience, compassion, and commitment to education. She was also a faithful member of Clifton Revival Center, where she found community, strength, and spiritual fulfillment.
Carol was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis Pulley, who stood by her side through life’s many chapters.
She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Jennifer Hartle and Jennifer’s husband Kurt Hartle. Carol was a proud and loving grandmother to Lauren Hartle, Madeline Hartle, and Patrick Hartle, each of whom brought her immense joy.
She is also survived by her son, Colby Schultz and his wife Alison. Carol’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Hailey King, Kaylin Durrett, Christa Schultz, and Weston Schultz, all of whom she loved dearly.
Carol will be remembered for her kindness, her steady presence, and the deep love she shared with her family. Her life was a testament to compassion, faith, and dedication, and she leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, Carol generously donated her body to science through the Genesis Whole Body Donation Program, continuing her spirit of giving even after her passing.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Genesis Whole Body Donation Program or to a charity of your choice.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
