Eddie Phillips, 64, of Crump, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, in Corinth, Mississippi, the son of the late Junior and Katie Franks Phillips.
Eddie retired from Packaging Corporation of America in Counce, after 28 years of employment, where he worked in the recovery department. He previously worked at Alexander Paper in Adamsville.
He is survived by his sons, Tyler Phillips and Trent Phillips; brothers, Terry Phillips, Shannon Phillips, and Greg Phillips; three grandchildren; and his companion, Amy Morgan.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his sister, Katrina Littrell; and brother, Donald Phillips.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, July 19, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Shannon Phillips officiating. Burial followed at Flat Gap Cemetery in Savannah.
