Emma Lois Robinson, 85, of Olive Hill, Tennessee, departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 7. She was born on May 27, 1939, in Collinwood, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Arto C. and Georgie Dicus Burleson. On Aug. 9, 1959, she was united in marriage to Glen Edward Robinson, who preceded his wife in death on Sept. 28, 2017. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She is survived by her son, Thomas B. Robinson of Hendersonville, North Carolina; daughter, Glenis Lowrance of Olive Hill, Tennessee; sisters, Rose Hollin of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Mary Reynolds of Savannah, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Emma Lois was preceded in death by her son, Glen Edward Robinson Jr.; daughter, Sharon Jean Sanderson; sister, Willodean Hill; brothers, Isaac Burleson and Joel Burleson; and grandson, Scott Sanderson. A graveside service was held on Thursday, Nov. 14, at Neill Cemetery in Savannah, Tennessee, with Blake Robinson officiating.
