Gary “Trix” Brown, 70, of Savannah

Gary “Trix” Brown, 70, of Savannah, died on Thursday, June 11, in Columbia, Tennessee.
He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Clarence Hardin and Ella Katherine Murphy Brown.
Mr. Brown worked as a truck driver moving mobile homes for Clayton Homes in Savannah. He previously worked for A&G Transport and Williams Transport.
He is survived by his son, Bucky Brewer of Adamsville; sisters, Billie Clayton of Savannah; Rhoda Brown of Adamsville, Betty Bishop of Savannah and Pat Brown of Golden, Mississippi; brothers, Michael Brown of Savannah and Dennis Brown of Savannah; and 6 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hardin Brown and sister, Katherine Coroline Scott.
Services were held on Friday, June 19, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed in the Germany Branch Cemetery at Savannah.
