George Garrison
George “Gary” Garrison, 76, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, the son of the late Charles Arthur and Evelyn Doris Schlicher Garrison.
He was united in marriage to Terri Copeland, who survives.
Mr. Garrison honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He later retired from Packaging Corporation of America after 33 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Terri Garrison; son, Danny Carl Garrison; daughter, Carla Elizabeth Garrison; brother, Rhea “Blue” Garrison; sisters, Linda Tobin and Carol Raines; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Butch” Garrison.
