James Wright, 73, of Savannah

James Wright, 73, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, October 20, in Savannah.
He was born in Wadsworth, Ohio, the son of the late James Willie and Clara Mae Harris Wright.
He was united in marriage to Linda Susan Beaty, who survives.
Mr. Wright taught school for 35 years for the Hardin County School System and he was pastor for 11 years at Graham United Methodist Church and Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Jonathan Wright and Patrick Wright; and one brother, Charles Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clara Wright and one brother, Robert Wright.
Services were held on Friday, October 23, at Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah with Mitch Bolton officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
