JC Franks

JC Franks, 92, of Savannah, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, the son of the late Clyde and Bertha Franks.
He was united in marriage to Mattie Wilson, who preceded him in death.
JC worked as B&R Lumber Company in Savannah, and farmed for several years before he gave it all up and retired.
JC is survived by his children, Jerry Franks, Judy Kelly, Billy Franks, and Jana Davis; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, JC was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Franks; daughter-in -law, Rhonda Franks; son- in- law, Phillip Kelly; two brothers; and three sisters.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, February 25, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed at Campground Cemetery in Savannah.
