Joe Robin Tidwell, 95, of Savannah, departed this life on Thursday, April 9. the son of the late John and Mary Tidwell.
He was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Casteel, who preceded her husband in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Polk; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sisters, Lucille Beckham, Etta Hosea, Gladys Hosea, Agnes Hopper, and Thelma Jerrolds; and brothers, Murray Tidwell, Charles Tidwell, and Tommy Tidwell.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, April 21, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Larry Paul Rich officiating. Burial followed at Piney Grove Cemetery in Savannah.
