Johnny Harold Rowsey, 86, of Savannah, the son of William H. Rowsey and Beulah Mae Smith Rowsey, passed away on Saturday, December 13, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He attended Peoples Tabernacle Church and loved the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Faye Rowsey; two daughters, Dianne Landreth and Tina Bauman; brother, Sammy Rowsey; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, William and Beulah; his sister, Barbara Polk; two brothers, Jimmy and Edward Rowsey; and his daughter, Mechelle Rowsey.
A service to celebrate Johnny’s life was held on Tuesday, December 16, at Peoples Tabernacle Church in Savannah, with Pastor Josh Franks officiating, and Jason Bauman, Johnny’s son-in-law, will share some personal words. Burial followed at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
