Johnny Word, 61, of Savannah, departed this life on Sunday, March, 29, the son of Molly Bevis Word and the late Rayford Word.
He was united in marriage to Connie Williams, who survives.
Johnny worked as a lineman for Irby Construction.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Kirkwood; sons, Justin Word and Johnathan Word; mother, Molly Word; brother, Donald Word ; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his father, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Word; and brothers, Raymond Word, Jack Word, and Roger Word.
