Kathy Ellen James-Morris, 69, of Morris Chapel, beloved mother to two sons and friend to many, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 22. Kathy was born on August 21, 1955, in Wynne, Arkansas. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Jason Morris, and Kyle Morris, and was “Nonnie” to four grandchildren. Kathy considered herself a Texan and raised her family in the Dallas area, where she enjoyed her career as a long-time, dedicated employee of American Airlines. A lover of horses and hummingbirds, Kathy took special joy in spending time with and caring for all her animals. Kathy was also an avid photographer and loved sharing her photos with friends and family. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Ruth Helbach; and Jake Helbach, and is survived by, Jason and Kelly Morris (Caleb and Jordyn,) and Kyle and Brooke Morris (Christian and Natalee.) She is also survived by, Shiloh, Baylee, Kody, Gracie, Savannah and Jake. She will be deeply missed. A small memorial service in Tennessee will be held on Saturday, August 16, at 7 p.m. If you wish join the family to celebrate Kathy, please contact them. A later service in Dallas will be determined.
