Linda Gamble, 83, of Savannah, departed this life on Sunday, April 26. She was born on July 23, 1942, in Milan,Tennessee, to the late Marion and Blanche Arnold. She graduated Savannah Central High School in 1960. She was united in marriage to her late husband Larry in August 1960. She worked at the Savannah Courier for the Craddocks in the 1960s, for Ideal Flower Shop afterwards, then was owner of Horner’s Florist in the 1970s and 1980s. She then worked for Henco afterwards. She was a member of East End United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Gamble,; and parents Marion and Blanche Arnold. She is survived by her son, Jeff and Susan Gamble of Knoxville , Tennessee; daughter, Lisa of Savannah; cousins, Annette Crout (Mike) of Nashville, Tennessee, Toni Caldwell (Robert) of Camden, Tennessee, and Sharon Latendresse (Jeff) of Camden, Tennessee. She is also survived by special friends Lamanda Finley of Crump and Kay Williams (Jimmy) of Savannah. Memorial donations may be made to East End United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1537, Savannah, TN 38372. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 29, at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Savannah, Tennessee, with Thad Calton officiating.
