Mark Dewayne Smith, 55, of Savannah, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 25, in Florence, Alabama. He was born on Feb. 14, 1969, in Savannah, the son of J.B. Smith and the late Rachel Mary Curry Smith.
Mark worked as a truck driver for J.B. Smith Trucking. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting pool with his father.
He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Duncan and her husband Nick; father, J.B. Smith; and grandchildren, Kyleigh Duncan and Tide Duncan.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Wayne Gean officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah, Tennessee.
