Randy "Bud" Smith

Randy “Bud” Smith, 66, of Counce, departed this life on Sunday, December 7, in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of the late Ottie and Ruby Smith.
He was united in marriage to Deb Shaw, who survives.
He graduated from Pickwick Southside and Bud was in the last class to graduate in 1977. He retired from Continental Construction Company where he worked as a crane and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Pickwick Church of Christ, International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union 369 - Memphis, and The Clubhouse.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deb Smith; sons, Justin Smith and Brandon Smith; brother, Rickey T. Smith; and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Culwell; brother-in-law, Jim Earl Culwell; maternal grandparents, Archie A. and Leller Morris Parsons; and paternal grandparents, Edd and Ethel Shipman Smith.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, December 13, Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Paul Childers officiating. Burial followed at White Sulphur Cemetery in Pickwick Dam, Tennessee.
