Ruth Ann Baugus, 91, of Savannah, departed this life on Wednesday, April 8,the daughter of the late Orville Harper and Dora Ann Young Robinson.
Ruth Ann was united in marriage to Melvin N. Baugus, who preceded his wife in death.
Ruth Ann was a member of Campground Methodist Church, where she served as a piano player. She was also a member of the Whites Demonstration Club. Ruth Ann worked at Magic Mart for 12 years until she retired, where she then stayed home to watch her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Bain, Jannice Hamilton , and Scottie Baugus; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Zella Beckham; brothers, Orville D. Robinson, James Robinson, Robert Earl Robinson, and Joe Robinson; and son-in-law, Jimmy Neal Bain.
Memorial donations may be made to Campground Methodist Church or Campground Cemetery Fund.
Memorial services were held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Campground Methodist Church in Savannah, with Brad Bain and Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed at Campground Cemetery in Savannah.
