Samuel Oren Littlejohn, 94, of Jacksboro, Tennessee, formerly of Counce, departed this life on Saturday, January 10, the son of the late Arlis Frasier and Ivy Irene Blankey Littlejohn.
He was united in marriage to Ruth (Helen) Gulledge, who survives.
Samuel was a foreman/supervisor, pipefitter and welder for Inland Steel. He was a member of the Pipefitter Union in East Chicago, Indiana. Samuel was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Savannah, Tennessee, for 31 years, member of First Assembly of God Church in Merrillville, Indiana and member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in Gary, Indiana.
In addition to his wife of 73 years, Ruth Helen Littlejohn, he is survived by his daughters, Brenda Chestnut and Lana Ham; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren and one on the way; and sister, Dorothy Motz.
In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Rodiguez; three brothers, Hubert Littlejohn, Charles Littlejohn, and Aaron Littlejohn; two sisters, Christine Nash and Mary Runyan; and one great-grandchild, Grayson Phillips.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, January 17, at First Assembly Of God Church in Savannah, Tennessee, with Pastor James Lopez and Pastor Todd Alexander officiating. Burial followed at Gravel Hill Cemetery in McNairy County, Tennessee.
