Sandra Gillis

Sandra Joy Gillis, 77, of Savannah, departed this life on Sunday, March 8, the daughter of the late Barney and Leona Hammock Chambers.
She was united in marriage to J P Gillis, who preceded his wife.
Sandra attended church at Spoken Word Ministries in Savannah.
She is survived by her son, Boyce Gillis; brothers, Barney Chambers and Greg Chambers; sister, Vickie Ritter; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Gillis; and brothers, Butch Chambers, Ralph Chambers, and Mickey Chambers.
Memorial services were held on Friday, March 13, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Patrick Godwin officiating. Burial followed at Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery in Collinwood, Tennessee.
