Susie Faye Wilson, 88, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, June 19, the daughter of the late Clyde Alexander and Bertha Edna Melinda Bell Melson Franks.
She was united in marriage to Gene Richard Wilson, who preceded his wife in death.
Susie attended Souls Harvest Church of God in Savannah.
She is survived by her sons, Gaylon Wilson, Ricky Earl Wilson, and Ronnie Gene Wilson; daughter, Virginia F. Smith; brothers, JC Franks and William Franks; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Susie was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dale Wilson; brothers, James Lewis Franks Jr. and Clyde Franks Jr.; and sisters, Bertha Mae Brooks and Sarah Evelyn Franks.
Memorial services were held on Monday, June 23, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.
