Ada Harrison (12-9-11) service 12-13-11

Ada Wilkerson Harrison, 88, of Savannah, died Friday, Dec. 9.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Robert (Bob) and Jenny Caroline Wilkerson. She was united in marriage to Warren George Harrison who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Harrison did ironing for individuals and was also employed at Savannah Motel.

Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jim Chamblee, Jason McKnight officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh National Park Cemetery at Shiloh.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeannette Harrison Weimer of Huntsville, Ala. and Linda Lou Harrison of Savannah; two sisters, Jane Wilkerson and Jinney Wilkerson Thrasher, both of Savannah; seven grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Warren G. Harrison Jr.; two sisters, Rhoda Brewington and Ester Lee Wilkerson; and three brothers, Bill, Rob and Otis Wilkerson.
