Allen Franks (6-25-10) services 6-29-10

Allen Jr. Franks, 30, of Lewisburg, Tenn., formerly of Savannah, died Friday, June 25, at Marshall Medical Center, Lewisburg, Tenn.

Mr. Franks was of the Christian faith.

Services were held Tuesday, June 29, at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Savannah, with Leon Franks officiating. Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery, Saltillo.

He is survived by his father, Rex Allen Franks of Savannah, his mother, Dolly Renee Ponds Franks of Savannah, and step-father, Bobby Wilkerson of Savannah; maternal grandmother, Carrie N. Ponds of Lewisburg, Tenn., paternal grandmother, Aileen Pearson of Savannah; brothers, Rex, Andy and Brandon Franks, all of Savannah; sisters, Misty Franks and Kristen Franks, both of Savannah.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Buster Ponds and paternal grandfather, Hershel Franks.
