Allen Smith Allen Lloyd Smith, 66, of Adamsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 7. He was born in Farmington, Miss., son of the late Sam Allen and Dora Viola Culver Smith. Mr. Smith was a operator at Knight Sawmill in Selmer. Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 9, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Calvin Mercer officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Wayne County, Tenn. He is survived by two daughters, Delois Ann Evans of Crump and Ruby Jewel Godsey of Michie; two sons, Allen Lee Smith of Leapwood, Tenn. and Robbie Lee Smith of Mississippi; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and former spouse, Artie Jane Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Joyce Smith; two brothers, Tommy and Lonnie Smith; a sister, Betty Smith.
